It seems like just yesterday we were watching Whitney Port wave a tearful goodbye to her bestie Lauren Conrad to take on "The City". After facing down some of New York's biggest fashion villains and releasing her first clothing line, it's safe to say Port conquered Manhattan, one overpriced cocktail at a time.
Fast forward a few years and Whitney is moving back to the Hills — with a full-fledged , husband, and soon-to-be baby in tow. My, how things have changed!
Port and her husband Tim Rosenman just purchased a very California house for $1.5 million in Studio City, . The two-bedroom, two-bathroom is built in a relaxed 1950s ranch-style, boasting adorable green exteriors and a roof lined with solar panels.
The inside still looks very mid-century Cali with its white brick fireplace and high, vaulted ceilings, but the gray hardwood floors and neutral palette are all new. Port and Rosenman will probably have to put a little elbow grease into the home if they want to modernize it a bit, but there is plenty of charming architectural integrity as is.
The living room, dining room, and master bedroom all open up to the lush backyard, complete with a jelly bean-shaped pool and a stone path leading to a spacious red deck that overlooks Los Angeles. A home with this much space couldn't be more perfect for a growing family.
This classic California property has all of the makings of a fabulous pad, and we have no doubt Whitney will style it accordingly.
