Most Recent Closet Addition: leopard-print espadrilles that I lived in all summer.
Most Valuable Closet-Organizing Advice: What you can't see is the collection of clothes stored neatly under the bed—I make sure to switch out my closet every season. Doing this helps me take stock every season of what I have and what I may want to buy. I organize dresses and tops by sleeve length (short or long) and I sort it all by color. I also have a separate drawer for sunglasses, which is the next best thing to keeping them in cases, but I would need a lot more space for that! And finally, I sort my shoes by separating the heels from the flats and organize them by color. It just makes me happy to see all of the colors. I put one shoe toe out and the match toe in so I can see the heel shape quickly.
Most Treasured Piece of Clothing: My favorite bubble-gum pink Oscar de la Renta runway dress from 1960.
Most Treasured Decor: The wallpaper on my closet ceiling from by David Hicks, and the Murano glass light I got on eBay.
