Clearly, James Mardsen is more than just a pretty face—in addition to being a fantastic actor, he's also got a great eye for stunning mid-century design. The X-Men actor spent $1.8 million on a 1959 post-and-beam home, located in a private Hollywood Hills neighborhood and designed by architect Edward H. Fickett, the "Architect to the Stars." The four-bed, three-bath one-story home features glass walls and sliding doors throughout to create an open space that flows into the lushly landscaped backyard, which includes a fire pit, swimming pool, and spa. And he won't need to worry about noise, since the property boasts no rear neighbors.

We hope Marsden keeps the home's current mid-century modern vibe, pairing colorful accents and artwork with beautiful vintage pieces. But the open layout promises adaptability: Partial walls separate the common areas, and the kitchen has recently been updated with super-chic marble countertops. Either way, we're sold—Marsden's new home certainly feels like a space anyone would fall in love with.
