Organization guru Marie Kondo has a new television show, and it seems like it'll be a lot like Hoarders (but for less crazy, more chic people).
The best-selling author of , Kondo is planning a TV show to help save anyone who is still asking whether their old t-shirts “spark joy” in their lives, using her . Willing packrats can get in on the fun, as Kondo will visit your home to help you organize and, by extension, transform your life.
“I will be bringing the life-changing magic of tidying up to a brand new series for a global TV platform,” Kondo said . “On this new series, I will be working with people to transform their home & spark a personal transformation.”
MysticArt Pictures is producing the show, which has the working title, "Organize the World with Marie Kondo." A casting call went out looking for people over the age of 18 in the greater Los Angeles area available for filming between March and June of 2018. Kondo has already had her own hit TV special, called "," on Japanese public TV. NBC is also in the works on , inspired by Kondo, about a young woman trying to reconcile her messy life.
