Bravo has blessed us with a new guilty pleasure: “” follows two Orange County, California, real estate firms competing for clients and commission in the elite market of SoCal. Let the drama begin!
The McMonigle Team, headed by John McMonigle, is formerly the number one real estate agent in the country, according to the Bravo site. McMonigle was hit hard by the market crash in 2007 and even filed bankruptcy. Soon after, he rallied a team of five to help him make his way back to the top, but a competitor stands in their way.
Enter: Jojo Romeo, a former employee of McMonigle, who runs The Relegance Group, also a five-person team. Romeo is known as the “real estate queen” in Orange County, and her is no secret.
“John is a narcissist,” Romeo says in the trailer.
Relegance Group member Kylie McCollough assures us the drama is "not fabricated, it is not producer enhanced, it is the real deal."
"There is a lot of rivalry, old wounds and some bitterness from things that went bad back when the downturn happened," says McCollough, who was not hired by McMonigle after an internship 10 years ago.
The rivalry and potential client- and employee-poaching hinted at in the teaser should be enough to keep your eyes glued to the screen, but if not, stick around for the unbelievable OC real estate.
Known as the California Riviera by locals, viewers will get a peak at the "hyper luxury" real estate this part of the country is known for.
"The California coastal dream is really showcased, it's another cast member," McCollough says.
But who will get their hands on these luxury listings? Watch the drama play out when the show premieres on October 5, at 10 P.M. EST on Bravo.
