Highlights of note include , which, at 1,396 square feet, clocks in as the tallest residential tower in the Western Hemisphere, according to The New York Times. , the pyramid-shaped residential building designed by starchitect Bjarke Ingels, is also visible, as is the , a planned 1,550-foot high rise that will house 155 condominiums and the eponymous department store.

Also worth pointing out? The rise of the Hudson Yards, which is poised to be a design lover's dream – and a financial hotspot, too. When complete,  predicts the neighborhood will bring in about $18.9 billion to the city's economy – even more than the GDP of Iceland. Sheesh.
