is known for its splendid silver, iconic engagement rings, and gorgeous Fifth Avenue flagship in New York City. Now, it might be adding 'fine dining destination' to the list.
On November 8th, the jewelry behemoth , finally offering countless hopeless romantics the chance to follow in Holly Golightly's footsteps and actually have breakfast at Tiffany's. The café, located on the fourth floor of the flagship, adjacent to the new Home & Accessories collection, will begin serving customers on November 10th.
The experience promises to be a far cry from the iconic opening montage of the 1960 classic. In the film, Audrey Hepburn's Holly meanders down the avenue, still in her long evening gown and tiara, then pauses to gaze longingly into the Tiffany window with croissant and coffee in hand.
Visitors to the Blue Box Café can expect more comfortable accommodations. Tiffany & Co. explains:
"The Blue Box Café serves American classics made with the highest quality, regionally sourced ingredients. The simple menu – which will change and evolve through the seasons – is a refined take on signature New York dishes, reinvented to be uniquely Tiffany."
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the restaurant has been decorated with unstinting attention to detail. The brand's signature Tiffany blue is a motif throughout the space — armchairs, wall hangings, and even the saltshakers are bedecked with the signature robin's egg shade.
Tour the space below, and stop by the Fifth Avenue location for your very own 'Breakfast At Tiffany's' experience, starting November 10th.
