These Are The World's 10 Most Expensive Cities To Live In

The most expensive cities to live in around the world in 2017 have been revealed and surprisingly, New York isn't one of them.

The 13th Annual Demographia International Housing Affordability Survey analyzed 406 metropolitan housing markets in nine countries - Australia, United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore and the UK.

To find out where the "severely unaffordable major housing markets" are, the study used the "mean multiple" method (the median house price was divided by the median household income).

Here are the world's priciest cities, from 10 to 1.
