Dance Through The Metropolitan Museum Of Art In A New Fitness Class

We've all seen our fair share of unconventional fitness trends throughout the years, from trapeze classes to goat yoga. But dancing through one of the world's top museums for exercise? Now that's something we can all get behind.

, a contemporary American dance company that's all about dancing where you're not supposed to, is now hosting a $35 dance class for anyone who wants to strike a move in .

Called "," the guided tour is a collaboration with artist and author , and takes you through selected exhibits from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. — before the museum opens at 10 a.m. and the crowds rush in.

Choreographer Monica Bill Barnes and her dance partner Anna Bass lead the class of 15 in sneakers and sparkly dresses, but participants can come in their favorite sportswear. The two-mile trek is accompanied by music such as 1970s tunes from Sly & the Family Stone and Elton John, according to .

Classes run until February 12.
