If you're someone who loves haunted houses and trains, then we've found a spooky adventure that has your name written all over it.
The New Hope and Ivyland Railroad will host a through Pennsylvania this year. The scary 40-minute ride departs from the quaint small town of New Hope, and it's sure to be full of freaky frights. Plus, tickets start at just $35!
Riders can expect to see a few ghostly guests on board this PG-13 train ride. "When this train leaves the safety of the station, you are tossed into the hands of the unknown," says the rail line's website. "Our creatures are sure to frighten the strongest of heart, and test the nerve of all onboard."
The old-school trains are outfitted with vintage seats and equipment, all from the 1910s through 1930s, which makes the adventure even more authentic.
You can catch the spooky ride on weekends and a few Thursdays starting October 13 and running through Halloween. Riders can choose from 7:20 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 9:40 p.m., and 10:50 p.m. departures, but you better nab 'em now because tickets are selling out fast. And while this eerie train ride is reserved for adults, take note the rail line also hosts a little kid-friendly , also starting on October 13.
