It's no surprise that British actress Minnie Driver would make her mark in the world of interior design. Driver's mother, Gaynor Churchward, is a successful designer in her own right, and as a child, the star would closely observe her work designing textiles. All those years of shadowing her mother paid off, as Driver finally decided to launch a textiles line, Minnie Driver's English Living, with HSN in 2017.
Building upon that success, Driver has extended her brand with a thoughtful furniture collection for , which she says is reflective of her British heritage and affinity for travel. The sophisticated assortment includes chairs, settees, ottomans, headboards, benches, and pillows. Items boast hand-drawn patterns that Driver believes can make any room more stylish. "It's chic, elegant, laid-back design," Driver told Siweb in an exclusive interview. "The collection is for someone who wants to incorporate more color into their space, who has traveled a little, and has an interest in bringing a more global feel to their design aesthetic."
You'll find three distinct patterns in the collection: Agave Stripe, a classic stripe inspired by vintage French paperback book cover prints; Desert Flower, a clever blend of vintage Indian and traditional English floral motifs; and Mariposa, which is a dot pattern that reflects the art of Indian block printing. Price points range from $125 for pillows to $1,195 for a settee, and the items are available on as well as the brand's two retail locations in Soho and Southampton.
