At next week's Salone Del Mobile in Milan, will unveil an expanded home collection, with a variety of new colors, textures, and products sure to inspire envy among the editors (and their Instagram followers.) We were lucky enough to get a sneak peek at what's to come—two glamorous pieces with distinct ties to the luxury brand's iconic fashions.
"The evolution of our Home collection has been purposefully gradual and deliberate, as we have never been interested in doing anything flashy or of-the-moment," says the brand's Creative Director Tomas Maier. "Some of these new pieces are more rustic, others more refined, but each one is versatile, functional and beautifully crafted to last a lifetime."
First up, the flatware seen above, right, is rendered in a new brunito finish, a darker, more antique-inspired look, made all the more sophisticated by the subtle engraving on the handles. It's a replica of the intrecciato motif, familiar to anyone who's ever lusted over a signature Bottega bag (above, left.)
The new glassware, crafted from Murano glass, is available in a brand new finish—a smokey, powdery grey that's pulled directly from the brand's Fall/Winter 2014 runway (see a look in the hue, above, left.)
The entire collection will be revealed next week and we're already dreaming of what kind of fashion inspiration it pulls from.
These pieces will be available available for order as of April 8 at the brand's 5th Avenue Home showroom in New York (212-371-5511).
